Formed in the mid-1990s, the band consists of Larry Kennedy (guitar, vocals), Garrick Chow (bass, vocals), Bryce Connor (guitar, vocals), and Tom Kristich (drums, vocals). Over the years, they have evolved from a vehicle for Larry’s original songs to a collaborative effort with all four members contributing to songwriting and lead vocals.
Their music is heavily influenced by classic rock and roll, from the British Invasion of the 1960s to ’90s alternative rock. They gained significant recognition when their track “Rock ‘n’ Roll Suicide” was named the Coolest Song in the World by Stevie Van Zandt’s Underground Garage radio show in 2021. They continued to impress with tracks like “About the Weekend” and “Can’t Be Wrong,” both of which also earned the Coolest Song in the World title.

“The Jellybricks began as a vehicle for Larry’s original songs in the mid-’90s but has steadily evolved over eight releases into a four-headed collaboration with all four members writing and singing lead. “We’ve gotten really good at speaking the same language when it comes to collaborating.” says bassist/vocalist Garrick Chow.
