NO PAPER. NO SCISSORS. JUST ROCK!

In my mind back in 2015, the title was used as a place holder until I could find a harder, “rock” sounding name… but this play on the Rock, Paper, Scissors game stuck. Probably because it was so good because it was sooo bad. So yes, if you have no paper and no scissors, all you are left with is…. The Rock!

And for 10 years, that is what I tried to accomplish with this playlist series. Not only do we try to feature new music by today’s musicians but also to feature those artists not well known and seldom heard. Now add the category of Rock music and it opens up a world of sound that the world is yet to hear. That is where we come in. For 10 years we have tried to bring you the latest of indie rock music and we think we have done a good job of doing so, but we aren’t done by a long shot.

We are back with the music series in 2025, doing things a little differently but bring you the same quality of rock music that we have in previous playlists. Inspired by the old MTV shows such as “120 minutes” and “Headbangers Ball”, we wanted to continue that search for new rock music but in playlist form. A lot of stations and playlists today have the latest hits and releases covered, but we try to dig deeper and search for bands that haven’t had their big break just yet, but is on the verge of doing so, and those bands that are just starting but who all still make quality hard-rocking music.

With all being said, the “No Paper. No Scissors. Rock Playlist!” returns with new playlist episodes and a new page hub where all the playlists will be listed and archived so you can listen at the past 10 years of Rock music that we have tried to influence your playlist with.
