Welcome to the “World Famous” (not really… yet) “Submitted For Your Approval” playlist series, born from the incredible response of indie musicians worldwide eager to share their sounds to the EYP listeners when the call was originally posted on our social media pages. This playlist is not just a regular new music playlist, as it features music submitted to us by the musicians themselves through social media, email, and primarily through our Music Submission page.

Oddly enough within our 10 years of existence, this is our newest playlist series, but the theme and goal are still the same as it has ever been since the inception of Expand Your Playlist, which is to bring you New and undiscovered music by bands and artists that you may not have of yet. The playlist does not focus on one genre or style of music as it varies thru genres and musicians’ professional levels, giving a diverse spotlight on independent and underground musicians of all styles, backgrounds, listener/follower counts, and algorithm qualifications.

WOULD YOU LIKE YOUR MUSIC TO BE ON A FUTURE SFYA PLAYLIST?
It is quite easy to do. Simply go to our Music Submission page and fill out the information. The music submitted will be taken in consideration for a playlist spot. We will listen to the music submitted to us, and if your music is selected, we will notify you on when the song will be featured. Not all songs will be selected for a playlist, but they will be put on our consideration list. This is a free service, and no charge is applied for submission or “fast tracking” to be on a playlist.

Our goal, as always, is to help musicians have their music heard and, as always, to help you the musician fan and listener… Expand Your Playlist!

Are you a musician, or do you represent a band or artist, and what your music on this playlist? It is easy to do so. Send us a bit about yourself or your band and your Spotify link to the specific song you want us to listen to via social media on Instagram, Threads, Twitter (X), Facebook, all under @eyplaylist.

You can also email us your Spotify link to expandyourplaylist@yahoo.com. And finally, you can simply just fill out our Music Submission form and fill out the information, including your link. You can send us any link not Spotify, but ultimately, we use songs on Spotify for our playlists.
