Internet Sasha is a rising alternative‑rock duo from Los Angeles, built around the creative partnership of singer‑songwriter Sasha Daniels and producer‑guitarist Daniel Guaico. Their sound blends ’90s grunge grit, ’70s soul warmth, and Beatles/Radiohead‑style melodies, giving their songs a nostalgic edge with a modern punch. They’ve been gaining momentum through singles like Cuddles, Girl’s Girl, and Talk Less, all part of the rollout for their debut EP. Known for rich harmonies, distorted guitars, and emotionally direct songwriting, the band is carving out a distinct lane in LA’s alt‑rock scene.

KATZROAR is a Los Angeles–based indie psych‑rock project led by a songwriter‑producer who leans into mysticism, ethereal vocals, and lush, atmospheric arrangements. Her music blends psychedelic rock, poetic lyricism, and emotive, spell‑like vocal delivery, creating songs that feel more like immersive rituals than traditional tracks. Releases such as “Invocation“, “Evolution“, and “Underworld“ showcase her focus on transformation, inner journeys, and soulful intensity, positioning Katzroar as a distinctive voice in the modern psych‑rock scene.

MARISA AND THE MOTHS
“Gaslight” – Stripped
@marisaandthemoths
mariaandthemoths.com
Marisa and the Moths are one of the UK’s most compelling modern alt‑rock bands—heavy, emotionally raw, and built around the powerhouse voice of Marisa Rodriguez. This is the Stripped (acoustic) of their recent hard rock hit “Gaslight”. This version takes Marisa and the Moths’ heavy, emotionally charged rock song and turns it into something far more intimate. Instead of big riffs and aggression, it leans into acoustic instrumentation, raw vocals, and open space, letting the lyrics about manipulation and self‑doubt hit with a quieter, deeper sting. It feels less like a confrontation and more like a confession — fragile, exposed, and incredibly human.

SLOW FUNERAL
“Run”
Conditions Of Trust (2025)
@slowfuneral
slow-funeral.com
“Run” by Slow Funeral is a stark, emotionally charged alt‑rock track from the 2025 album Conditions of Trust. The song confronts cycles of manipulation, abuse, and the façade of the “nice guy,” delivered through Mary Norris’s raw, trembling vocal performance and unflinching lyrics. It blends grunge‑leaning intensity with intimate storytelling, turning the chorus refrain—about recognizing harm and choosing to escape—into something both cathartic and haunting.

The Sherlocks are an English indie‑rock band known for sharp guitar work, energetic rhythms, and a clean, anthemic sound that fits alongside bands like The Courteeners or early Arctic Monkeys. Their song “Heart of Gold”—featured on their debut album Live for the Moment (2017)—is a driving, emotionally earnest track built around themes of regret, honesty, and trying to hold onto someone before things fall apart. They re-recorded the song acoustically in 2025, amongst others, for their album “Unplugged, Vol. 1”.

ANDERS JÖRNESTEN
“Castles of Sand”
@andersjornesten
andersjornesten.bandcamp.com
Anders Jörnesten is a Swedish singer‑songwriter from Stockholm whose music blends folk, Americana, and classic country influences. He began writing songs in 2021 during the pandemic, turning a lifelong guitar hobby into a creative outlet that quickly grew into a full catalog of intimate, narrative‑driven tracks.
“Castles of Sand” by Anders Jörnesten is a gentle, melancholy folk‑Americana track released on January 31, 2025. Built around soft acoustic guitar and Jörnesten’s warm, understated vocals, the song reflects on nostalgia, impermanence, and the way life’s efforts can feel as fragile as sand sculptures washed away by time. Its simplicity is its strength — a quiet, reflective piece that captures longing and the bittersweet weight of memory.

ARUM RAE
“Look at You Now”
Made For Love (2025)
@arumrae
arumrae.com
Arum Rae’s new EP “Made For Love” continues her signature blend of dark Americana, soul‑tinged indie, and moody, minimalist production — the kind of nocturnal, emotionally heavy atmosphere she’s known for. Her song “Look at You Now” stands out as a slow‑burn, intimate track built around smoky vocals and a tense, aching lyric about conflicted attachment and letting go. It leans into her strengths: raw delivery, sparse but haunting arrangement, and a sense of emotional honesty that feels both fragile and powerful.

TALKER
“Return To Sender” – Stripped
I’m Telling You The Truth (Deluxe Version) (2025)
@talkerceleste
talkerceleste.com
Talker’s stripped version of “Return to Sender” takes the emotionally tense indie‑rock track and distills it down to its barest, most vulnerable core. With the full production peeled away, Celeste Tauchar’s voice sits front and center—soft, wounded, and unguarded—letting the song’s themes of heartbreak, self‑reflection, and unresolved attachment hit with sharper intimacy. The acoustic arrangement highlights the lyrical ache, turning the track into something quieter, more fragile, and deeply human.
